Okay, I am posting about our weekend. I would've done it sooner, but I really love the pictures in the last post and wanted them to have a few days to be the highlight. Friday was crazy. We had lunch with my cousin Amber--forgot to get a single picture of her (I think she distracted me any time I mentioned it...) Then, we stayed out all day running around with Amber (had a blast!) and went to a late dinner with our friends, John, Brittney, Trevor, Roxane, Wally, and Amber.
Lilly didn't have much of a nap....so she was tired at dinner. However, she was still so good. She was happy all day long. Matt and I are so blessed to have such a sweet sweet girl. Oh yeah, her shirt says "Born in 2008" HaHa.
This is Trevor. He is so funny. He will be three in a couple of months. He told his dad that Santa was coming 2 times. John asked where he heard that and he said, "Mommy, you know in the song, "You better not pout, You better not cry, Santa Claus is coming two times"....adorable!
Roxane, Wally, and Lilly...forgot to get a pic of John and Brittney....next time. Slacking on the photo ops here.
The rest of the weekend was mainly taken up with football and movies and being lazy...since Thursday we have seen the following: Iron Man (Great), Eagle Eye(Ok, different than what I thought), Kung Fu Panda (Liked it), Made of Honor (Predictable, but goodish), and The Women (Good, I like more of a finite ending-but it didn't totally leave you hanging). I wasn't really paying attention to the football games...I think mostly playoff stuff. Tonight, we had dinner with the Trumbos. Good times. No pics. And, of course, as we do daily........we PLAYED with our little Lilly!
Lilly is watching football in her Boppy. Daddy loves that she loves football. I assume it is all the bright colors....or the love of football really is genetic. I guess we will have to wait to find out.
Lilly is mid-talk in this picture. I think of it as one of her first "Action Shots".
Playing in the floor with daddy and the ducky.
Tank is back!!! Tank had a little vacation from Thanksgiving to Christmas in B-town with his pug girl Cleo, and his boys Thomas and Ray. We are so glad to have him back, BUT he was super stinky. We finally gave him a bath today so now we can let him get closer to Lilly....and us. Ok, so our weekend was not too exciting (we are a little chronically tired these days, you know)....but Grandma DeDe will be here this coming weekend!

I love love love the pic of Matt and Lilly!! She is beautiful!
Fun post - sounds like you guys rang in the new year right! Lucy loves to watch football, too - really anything on ESPN. She was born during college bowl season, so that's what we did her first few weeks of life. She's still a fan!
That pic of Matt and Lilly is a favorite of mine too!
