Puffy Paint Ghosts

One night while browsing Pinterest...I'm sure to avoid doing something that probably needed to be done...I found a cute idea for a Puffy Paint Ghost here.  I have been wanting to do some puffy painting with the kids and I thought this sounded like a fun, festive activity!
 So I mixed the 3/4 cup shaving cream and the 1/4 cup of glue together and covered the kitchen table with a cheap disposable table cloth and we were good to go!  (I also traced a ghost outline on the inside of a paper bag.)
 They both kind of played with it for a minute and squished it between their hands and spread it all around.
 Rubbing it together.
 Spreading it around.
 Diving in hands first!  (:  (You can see Reid is in the background starting to rub it on himself.  Warning:  This is a messy activity--plan for a bath immediately following.)
 They smiled the whole time.  They have probably asked to do it again 147 times.
 Spreading it around some more.
 Having lots of fun!
 Getting messy!
 My instructions were, "Put your hands in the air and touch nothing!"  Ha!  Needless to say he went straight to the shower to rinse off and then to the bath for a proper cleaning.
 Lilly was much cleaner--so I would say this is as neat as this activity could be.
And this was our final product!  Lilly wanted a scary mouth and Reid wanted a happy mouth.  One of the two of them stuck some extra eyes on after we were done because they both initially only had two eyes.  Ha!  These two are always full of surprises!  ( ;

These are sooo cute. I am sure what made it more fun is that their mom let them get all messy!
