More videos!

This is one of my favorite videos so far! You get to see several things. (1)Lilly giving Reid some love. (2)Lilly getting stuck in the Bumbo seat. (3)Reid roll over. He is very tired and just lays his head on the carpet towards the end...it may or may not have been like the 20th video I took of him. Who's counting, right?

This is just a video of Lilly loving on Reid and sort of trying to share her paci.

This video is of Reid smiling and laughing. I recommend watching until after the part where we talk about how good he is. Then, you can move on--it is just Lilly and I wrestling over the camera. Haha.

Okay, this video is more of me trying to get Reid to smile...but that is not why I put it on here. A little into it, Lilly comes over and I get on her camera. Once you see her, you have seen why I put it on here and you can move on if you would like. Hope you enjoyed these videos. Now you have a small glimpse into my days!!! Man, I love these kiddos!

Video

Ok, so this is the video that I have wasted a good 4 hours of my life trying to upload. But it is here. There are a few rules before you watch it.

One, you must not judge the chair with 6 loads of folded laundry on it. We had just got back from Benton and I was in the midst of unpacking and doing all of our laundry. I like to put it away all at once when I have to spend the whole day washing clothes like that. This was an unplanned video...so you just have to ignore it!

Two, you can watch the whole thing if you want to. It is like 4 minutes long or so. However, after 3 minutes and 15 seconds, it is just me trying to get her to say stuff that she won't do for me. It is not that exciting.

Three, ignore my singing. She gets more excited when I sing with it. Also, I don't know why but my voice is always sooo loud on the video. Hush Matt--it is not because I am a loud person. Ha.

Now let me explain the video. She is watching her Baby Einstein Neighborhood Animals video and the Old MacDonald song is about to come one. When it comes on is when she start clapping and gets very excited. Also, keep watching when she is playing on the couch because that part gets pretty funny!! Enjoy!

Also, I just posted another post with pics and info so keep scrolling down. (c; Hope you had a great weekend and have a great week ahead!!

4 months and 16 months

Baby this month has been cold outside!!! It doesn't matter how cold it is outside, Lilly INSISTS on going outside when we take Tank out. So, this is her in her PJs and hat ready to "help" take Tank for a little walk.
We have been keeping this big man inside! But, Friday we had to take him to the doctor for his 4 month check up and shots (stupid shots). He weighed in at a whopping 17 lbs. 12 oz. and is 26 1/2 inches long!!! 90th percentile in both. He looks good and he actually took his shots way better than last time.....me-not so much! Oh well, I know they are needed to prevent bad things but I sure do HATE them. I don't mind getting shots but please don't poke my sweet innocent babies.
Lilly dressed to get out Friday, too. She is so funny because she already gets cabin fever! She will just stand by the door and point to it and hit it like she is saying "let's go!" She also runs for the door if you say, "Come on Lilly-let's go bye bye"! She loves to stir things. In this picture she has her spatula and bowl and is mixing something up.
I got this picture off of my mom's camera. This is what Reid wore to her house Christmas night. He wanted to be formal, but he was there for the party!
I might've blinded him with the flash on this one. Haha. He is constantly rolling over now. He is so happy all the time. He just smiles and coos. Also, whenever I go to give him kisses, he opens his mouth really wide every time. (Lilly rarely gives me kisses to this day so I am eating this up!!)
Lilly is still into everything!
Literally and figuratively.
I went to get into the bathroom cabinets this morning and she had put her pots and bowls away in the cabinet. It was hilarious. She had them all lined up very neatly next to each other. Now that she likes to put things into other things it is getting impossible to find stuff when you need it. We spent all day cleaning and looking for Matt's phone. We finally found it in Tank's bed. I guess she thought Tank might want to call someone...probably his girlfriend Cleo.
She is CONSTANT entertainment. I seriously wonder what we did before she came around. It must've been so boring! I wouldn't know because I can't seem to remember what life was like before her. Isn't it funny how that happens almost immediately?
Big man already has two teeth!!! Apparently, he is going to be ready when we give him table food! He is always trying to sit up. He is so sweet and cuddly. I just love to snuggle with him. He loves to be snuggled too. If I spend the day away from him, he will go on a nursing strike for either a couple of feedings or a day. I guess he gets offended! I hope he is a Mama's boy (within reason--I don't want him getting beat up or anything...although I don't think he is going to have to worry about that!)
He has started sleeping in his own crib and is doing pretty good. He sleeps between feedings for the most part and will eventually go a good stretch. Sometimes it is after the first feeding...other times it is after the 3:00 feeding. I am ready for him to go back to sleeping all the way through the night. What happened there Mr. Reid? Last night was a weird night. I think him and Lilly had a contest to see who could wake up the most. I guess I should be happy they are already playing games together. Haha. I love these two so much and can't wait to see what the next month holds! They both change so much so fast that I am just trying to keep up and take it all in...my heart is so full!

Explanation

So, I just spent the last hour and a half trying to upload a video which I am pretty sure HAD TO BE close to being finished uploading. Well, since it was taking FOREVER to upload, I decided to set up a facebook page (feel free to now add me as a friend since I have all of 3--husband and mother included--haha)...well, somewhere in the setting up, my internet just closed. So, the video is not up here. Ahhhhh. That was pretty much my reaction since it is 1:20 in the am. I have to go to sleep since the boy will probably want to eat soon. Will post when I wake up in the morning so check back in the afternoon! The video is darling...but I am partial!

Snow Much Fun!

Well, it has been snowing here this week but it is WAY too cold to go outside with Reid (or just too cold period) so we brought some inside. She thought it was lots of fun!
She sat down and pulled it up to her like that--so cute!
She would put her hands in the snow.
Then, she would rub her hands together.

Then, she ate some. Don't worry--it was clean snow.
In the background you can see some of the mess she made throughout the afternoon.
She got her kitchen toys into it, too. Oh, and when the snow would fall on the ground (it is dirty now--you will see why in a second), she would pick it up and put it back in the pot.
This is why the snow got dirty. She kept putting Tank's toys in there. Don't worry--I did NOT let her eat any more snow after that!
She did try and let Tank eat some snow, though. Sooo thoughtful! Ha.

2010

Well, lets just say the Scott's New Year started pretty low key! On New Years Eve, we just stayed at home and watched Four Christmases (the spit up scene is my favorite--laugh until I cry!) and I worked on the slide-show from the previous post. At midnight I went to tell Matt "Happy New Year", but he had fallen asleep in the recliner. What can I say? We are some exciting folks!
New Years day we just laid around the house and played with the kiddos and watched "Confessions of a Shopaholic". I thought it was adorable. Lilly kept going to the door all day so we decided we should get out.
We met our friends John and Brittney and their two kids Trevor and Cruz for dinner at Chilis. I didn't get any photos but I should have because Trevor came walking in the restaurant with an eye patch and pirate tattoos. Adorable!
I am OBSESSED with Chili's lately. I am always craving it (and NO I am not pregnant-ha!). Matt said he thinks they must be "sprinkling some crack on their food" because I want it so much lately. He cracks me up. They just have a great menu--you can order a different thing every day of the week if you want to. Attention Chili's Franchise--If you would like a spokeswoman whose blog is read by a limited number of people--I will work for cheese dip and salsa!!! Moving on...
After dinner we went to Wal-Mart because Miss Priss had eaten us out of house and home! She kept running around Wal-Mart and sitting on the shelves.
There is never a dull moment!
While we were there, we looked through the Christmas aisle. I got a 6 1/2 foot pre-lit tree (one where if one bulb goes out, the rest of the lights still work) that goes together in three pieces, tree stand included for---wait, if you are not seated then you need to sit for this......$8!! Can you believe that deal?? It put me in a good mood for at least three more days!! I also got some shatterproof deep red ornaments for 50 cents a package and some deep red stockings for $2. I was in Sale Heaven.

Today (and both of the previous days) we watched football. We started this morning off by watching the Hogs basketball game. Don't get Matt started. If you didn't watch, we pretty much handed the game to UBA with 1 second left on the clock. Then, we went over to Lilly's great aunt GiGi and Uncle Mike's house to watch the Hogs play E. Carolina in the Liberty Bowl. Let's just say we squeaked by with the win...but a win is a win-am I right?
Aunt GiGi fixed the BEST red beans and rice and hot wings. OH. MY! Soooo good. She, Lilly, and I went and picked up the twins for some play fun! In the photo above is Aunt GiGi, Lilly, and Eva Kate.
"Whatchoo talkin' 'bout Willis?" Haha. I love the look on his face. He is really just wandering why in the world we are trying to get his attention when he is clearly watching t.v.!
Eva Kate is making her "silly face". Both of the twins are so precious. Eva Kate was so sweet to Lilly. She kept coming up to her while they were playing and just hugging her! How adorable is that?
I just LOVE this photo. Reid just kept smiling at her.
Lilly in her PJs ready to go home. The past two nights she has fallen asleep in the car and we have been able to just take her inside and put her in bed. Matt said this is "life changing"! Ha. It really is because before if she fell asleep on the way home then she would want to be up for a couple of hours once we got home! So far, even though it has only been three days, we have been blessed beyond belief already this year! And I even forgot to eat some black-eyed peas! Don't worry-I am going to eat some tomorrow to make up for it. (c;
Oh, and I forgot to put this sooner, we got our PERFECT Christmas cards from GirafficArts--she did a great job for us and I added her to my blog roll in case you are looking for her later and can't find this post. If you are in need, she is highly recommended!
